About Us
Texas Tykes Miniatures was established in 2002 after 20 years of breeding appaloosas. After getting stomped on, bitten, kicked and dumped, we decided it was time to downsize. We gave a new meaning to "downsizing" and got into miniatures. The first time we saw a little one trot, we were hooked.

We started showing and having fun with our horses again! Our horses may be small in size, but they are big in personality! We are located northeast of San Antonio, Texas and are home to approximately 50 "wee ones."
